Privacy policy

Roamee is operated by Roamee OÜ (the “company”, “we”), reachable at hello@roam.ee. We sell eSIM data plans for travel via the website at roam.ee.

• Email address — required at checkout so we can deliver your eSIM QR code and contact you about your order.
• Order details — which plan you bought, when, for how long, and the resulting eSIM identifiers (ICCID, LPA activation string).
• Payment information — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; Stripe returns us a session id we use to confirm payment.
• Server logs — your IP address and basic request metadata are recorded by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and reliability. Logs are retained 30 days.

We share the minimum data required to provision and deliver your eSIM, with these processors:

• Stripe Inc. — payment processing. You agree to Stripe’s privacy policy when paying.
• Supabase Inc. — secure storage of your order record (EU region).
• Resend Inc. — transactional email delivery of the QR code and support replies.
• eSIM Access — our wholesale provider; we forward your bundle selection so they can activate the eSIM.
• Vercel Inc. — site hosting and serverless execution.

We do not sell your data, share it for marketing, or use it to build behavioural profiles.

Order records (including the eSIM identifiers and QR code) are kept for as long as your eSIM remains active plus 12 months, which lets us re-send the QR if you lose it. After that, the QR image and activation strings are purged; we keep an anonymised purchase record indefinitely for tax compliance.

If you’re in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to processing. Email hello@roam.ee and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies and localStorage entries (cart state, session id from Stripe). See our cookie policy.

If we materially change how we handle your data we’ll update this page and bump the “last updated” date at the top.
